Objective

● To position Argentina as a preferential destination in the European and Asian market.

● To train professionals in the tourism sector in the knowledge, sale and tourist offer of the country.

● Reinforce Argentina’s presence in the international media.

● To deseasonalize the sale of tourist packages and increase the number of travellers per market and their average expenditure at destination.

● Increase the impact of Argentina’s exhibition at international fairs and events.


Actions implemented

● Design and implementation of the IDesign and implementation of the International Tourism Promotion Plan aimed at the European tourism industry, media and end consumers.

● Creation and management of a Tourism Office in Europe to keep permanent contact with members of the tourism sector, journalists, tourists and Embassies and Consulates.

● Design and execution of advertising campaigns and BTL actions and management of social networks.

● Integral support and logistics in international tourism, gastronomy and investment fairs, creating meeting agendas and interviews for Argentinean delegations.

● Integral organization of training seminars, roadshows, trade missions, workshops and social and business events.

● Writing, sending and translation of press releases in five languages; creation of contents and interviews; elaboration of clipping with qualitative and quantitative assessment.

● Achievement of commercial agreements and negotiation of campaigns with tour operators and airlines.


Results

● Achievement of commercial agreements and negotiation of campaigns with tour operators and airlines.

● Training of more than 5,900 tour operators and travel agents.

● More than 1,500 media appearances with an average value of 20 million euros per year.

● Promotion of the destination in more than 20 tourism fairs.

● Organization of more than 50 workshops and events per year.
